Music

Open to all parishioners age 13 and up. This choir serves our parish with all of the weekly and seasonal liturgical worship through music. Music sung by this choir reinforces the weekly scripture. The music ranges from our liturgically sacred past to the most recent sacred contemporary.

Open by audition to all parishioners from 8th grade to adult with at least three years of experience and training on their instrument. We need additional string instruments, flutes, clarinets and low brass.

Open to all parishioners age 10 and above.

Special holiday services as assigned by Music Director.

Open to children in 2nd through 8th grade. Children 7th grade and above also may participate in a Youth Cantor Program.

Childred are invited to join the adult choir at any 9am Sunday Mass and on any holiday the choir is scheduled.

Providing song leadership to the assembly at all designated liturgies with music. At least one cantor will be assigned to each non-choir Mass.

The cantor ministry also will provide small-ensemble singing at selected non-choir liturgies.

Rehearsals twice a month for 90 minutes.

Open to all parishioners who are normally available in the morning for all funeral Masses unless otherwise requested by the family of the deceased.

This is a good ministry for those who cannot make the time commitment to the other parish ensembles.
