The St. Alphonsus/St.
Patrick School offers a Catholic elementary education program for grades
preschool through eighth. Our school is dedicated to providing an
excellent education that emphasizes the basic subjects of reading,
language arts, social studies, mathematics, and science, and prepares our
children to be successful in the technological age in which they live. The school's faculty
consists of fully certified religious and lay teachers who are committed
to an appreciation of the dignity of each child. Along with parents and
the pastors, our staff works to integrate sound Christian principles of
faith and action with strong scholastic programs to satisfy the
challenging demands of the modern world and to provide for individual
needs. St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick School adheres to the standards and
policies set forth by the Archdiocese of Chicago, Office of Catholic
Education and is fully certified by both the State of Illinois and the
Archdiocese of Chicago.
Our school proclaims the
Gospel throughout the curriculum. We pride ourselves in the development of
the whole person of the student - spiritually, intellectually, personally,
socially, and physically. With Jesus as our primary model, students will
leave St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick School with the necessary life skills and
Christian attitude to lead a successful life.
