Alphonsus Parish is a Catholic
Faith-family rooted in history and growing with the community. We
strive to spread the Good News of the Kingdom of God by our
participation in the areas of Prayer, Education, Service, Social
Activities, and Worship. Empowered by the
Holy Spirit, we respond to Christ's call, "Come follow Me!"

Bulletin Articles: Articles
should be given in writing to the Office Center by Thursday, ten days
prior to the Sunday bulletin in which you want them published. They must
include the name and phone number of a contact person and be approved by
the pastor.
Pulpit Announcements: Announcements
must be turned in to the Office Center the Wednesday before you wish
them announced, including the name and phone number of a contact person.
The pastor must approve all announcements.
Lemont Catholic
Community: In
addition to ministries at St. Alphonsus, the parish also participates in
services and ministries offered by the other Lemont Parishes of St.
Patrick's, Ss. Cyril and Methodius, and St. James of the Sag.
Representatives of each parish gather in planning and coordinating
various ministry opportunities and liturgies that serve the greater
Lemont community. Opportunities that involve the entire Lemont Catholic
Community are noted as such on this Web site. |
